OAKLAND, DAISY M. (BURLEY-GIBERSON) gradu ated to glory September 6, 2012. She was born April 12, 1923 in Medford, MA of Joseph Olin and Elsie Florence (Wainwright) Burley. A gentle and loving mother to great-great grandmother, she was renowned for showering friends and family with gracious hospitality. During her career years she resided in Rumford, RI. 1985, the retired cafeteria bookkeeper of Brown University, Providence, RI moved to New Brunswick, CAN, later to So. Dennis, MA until 2004 health issues beckoned to sunny Florida and family with whom she attended First Assembly of God West as the matriarch of five generations living in Cape Coral. In FL she is survived by her husband, William Oakland, her son, Rev. Frank Giberson and wife Valerie, granddaughter, Christine Barker and husband Kermit, great-granddaughter Tiffany McConnell and husband Shawn, great-great-granddaughter Haley, and great-granddaughter Chelsey Barker. In Hudson, NH resides her granddaughter Lisa Breen and husband Christopher. In RI resides her daughter Chrystal Giberson, grandson John J. Sareiva, wife Lisa plus great-grandson Jacob, granddaughter Kelly Wilcox, great-grandson Tyler, grand-daughter Elizabeth Wilcox, stepson Scott Oakland, his wife Donna and daughter Hannah. Stepson Ronald Oakland resides in NJ. Sister-in-law Miriam Burley, MA, wife of predeceasing brother, Olin Burley, as was George Burley of TX. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Hope Hospice Chapel, 2430 Diplomat Pkwy, Cape Coral, FL. The Concluding Service will be held on Tuesday September 11, 2012 at 10AM, SpringVale Cemetery, 150 Newman Ave., Rumford, RI.
